Christmas Sing-Along

It's almost time again: the annual Christmas Sing-Along at the beautifully decorated Maria van Jesse Church in Delft, taking place on Monday, December 23, 2024. Led by the well-known Delft resident Gregor Bak, it promises to be an unforgettable evening, filled with warm Christmas sounds, a festive atmosphere, and togetherness.

A Special Evening with Musical Highlights
The Christmas Sing-Along has become an unmissable tradition in Delft's holiday season. The evening is all about singing together, enjoying beautiful music, and celebrating the Christmas spirit. The event will be hosted by Gregor Bak, who will enthusiastically guide the audience through a program of well-known Christmas carols.

The singing will be performed by the mixed choir Deo Sacrum and the male choir Vox Latina, adding a special dimension to the evening. The musical direction is in the hands of Petra Veenswijk. Since 1987, she has been the organist at the Maria van Jesse Church in Delft, and since 1994, she has combined this role with that of organist/conductor. As an internationally renowned concert organist, she gives numerous concerts both at home and abroad every year.

In addition to the communal singing of Christmas carols, attendees will be treated to harp and violin performances, which will complete the warm, festive atmosphere. Furthermore, a special soloist, together with the women’s choir Cantiamo, will add an extra layer to the program.
