Jeroen Alexander Meijer is an interdisciplinary mindscape artist who uses psychology, philosophy and cognitive science to create interactive experiences. Experiences that make us aware of the mysterious characteristics of our attention.
His fascination with this subject started with his attention deficit disorder (ADD), which creates friction with the world full of distractions we live in nowadays.
By practising the old technique of Vipassana meditation, he became conscious of the subtle and also great force of our human spirit. This was his inspiration for the final goal of his work: Helping people around the world to get into a similar meditation mindset and to get their attention back on themselves.
Meijer achieved this by designing compelling multi-sensory installations that focus on observing your perception. The final goal is to create a deep feeling of how our inner world influences our outer world directly.
