Hamtunnel - Walkingroute Ceramics
Artwork in Hamtunnel
Hungarian artist Márta Nagy has created a ceramic work of art for the walls of the Ham Tunnel, entitled ‘Garden’ for the UNIC (Urban Network Innovations for Ceramics), which includes Delft. The pattern of the bricks was inspired by the structure of a map of Delft dated 1652 (see map), which clearly shows the canals and gardens. A variety of silver and gold tinted flowers can be discovered in the relief.
