Homage to Gaudi
In The Prinsenhof Garden stands Homage to Gaudi, a ceramic Delft blue sofa designed by Marianne Burgers since 1988.
Delft artist Chris Dagradi created the tiles, including Chinese motifs, especially for this sofa. Burgers’ design pays homage to the work of celebrated Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí i Cornet (1852-1926), who is known for his organic designs such as the fairytale Park Güell in Barcelona.
