Delfts' city brewery, restaurant and beer garden. After the discovery of the 14th-century beer cellar got the beer history of Delft back to life!
Raise your glass... You are here! At this place of the Delfts Brouwhuis, they already brewed beer 700 years ago! During the renovation, what is now called the Delfts Brouwhuis, discovered owners Jon, Sander and Thijs a medieval cellar from the year 1300! The archaeology of Delft helped them to carefully dig out and research the cellar. They found shards of medieval beer mugs and discovered that the cellar was being used as a brewery as well.
