Cultural Heritage: The ancient Water Tower and accompanying water cellar are now a center for modern art and ecology.

The water tower was built from 1895 -1896 with a storage capacity of 600,000 liters. It played an important role in supplying drinking water to Delft up until 1996. It was then sold, completely renovated, and changed owners a couple of times. In May 2022 it opened for the public, together with ‘RADIUS’, a small museum for modern art and exhibitions on ecology and climate change. Given this focus, RADIUS is a logical end-point for this thematic walk, the New Delft Water Walk.
