At number 45 a tile tableau dating from 1886 displays the pottery making process carried out by children in seventeenth century costumes. The children of Royal Delft employees served as models. The tableau is a design by artist Adolf Le Comte (1850-1921) who was also a teacher at the Polytechnic School (now the Technical University of Delft) and a designer at Royal Delft.
